I made lavender, rosemary seasoning salt for my mom and sister. It is a combination of the two herbs and sea salt. I got the idea from a renaissance fair I went to this Fall. I normally just make enough to use at a meal, so I had to guess at quantities when I made it as a gift. It is good sprinkled on roast that has been brushed with olive oil (as a marinade). We have also used it as part of our seasoning for meat that we grill, chicken breasts, steak. I also think it would be good in beef stew.
