Hey Gordon, yes, I do keep one out in a pot (well kinda double potted for looks) close to the house in a protected area (covered front porch). Thank goodness they do well in shade and with minimal water. Do you know that I have NEVER fertilized one and rarely water them? I have ones on my property that must be well over 12 ft and still thrive in our drought and still bloom in the coldest winters? I haven't lost one yet, knock wood, and it does go below 0 here at times.

I just wish someone would learn how to propogate them, we haven't had much luck and if I could, I'd surround my front yard with a hedge of them!
