A lot depends on what time of the year you purchase/plant your seeds.. these were purchased in late summer, planted in Australia , shot up small growth and winter gave them the 'big goodbye', so really, i lost a year,.,.,.But here is my opinion, and please seek many others[ as they are all good on here]..Plant seeds in mid to late spring and generally, [with good keeping] you should have flowers 16-18 months later,..,5 oz for $25 , roughly 800 seed count, with a decent anniholation rate, say 500 come to flower, in year 2 each is sold off to loving lily collecters at $5-$7.50 each depending on appeal[you do your math]- time costs nothing!!-I am really impressed with these!- and will hold back on selling, until i know what i have,.but some will be well worth showing in years to come,..,If you want a quick lilium from seed, heres a suggestion-L.Formosanum- 8 months from seed to flower. Thanks for the question Caroline. Thumbs up
