Thank you Sheryl,

I haven't been collecting plants long, but I absolutely love them and love caring for them!!! I have MS and it causes a lot of memory loss,so I have notebooks with information on my plants to help my remember which likes what.I found out that when trying to id a plant it's almost impossible without the botanical/latin names.I have found I am attracted to a lot of different plants, I mean plants that look odd or unusual.I like Rhipsalis plants and they are almost impossible to id.Having the latin names helps find good, correct info on caring for them as well.

As for my pothos and philodendron they are in the same family 'Araceae'.That's where it stops they are a different genus.

It is nice meeting you, hope to see you around, trust me I have lots of questions. If i can't find it on-line or I don't understand it I ask Sticking tongue out

'Rhipsalis sulcata'
A green thumb comes only as a result of the mistakes you make while learning to see things from the plants point of view!!
