Very interesting discussion re use of Epsom salts. I have been using it and now I am questioning whether to use it again or not. Below are two photos of the same daylily, in the same spot, not touched, divided or anything. The first photo is from 2009 and the second from 2011. I wonder if the use of various fertilizers can cause this difference. I was really disappointed in the color this year. This seedling has good bud count and is a pod stud, but the color mostly looked brown/tan this year.
