Hey all, Sorry, haven't been back in a while. I DID take the snake off the feeder and relocate it to the barn. It was a harmless little oak snake. They are so docile they don't even try to bite. I have always liked snakes too.
I have another picture of one of these snakes eating a mocking bird up in a oak tree. My husband came in the house and asked "what kind of snake catches birds out of trees?" I thought he was kidding..... Wish I could find that pic. I know it's somewhere on this computer.
