Guess who is going to be picking peaches in a few months? Me Hurray!
It dropped down to 23 F. The fully opened buds froze around the edges but the interiors look fine. The closed buds look good on most of the tree except for the very top of the tree. Those buds look somewhat shriveled so I guess those are toast. I still have a hard time believing it was the iron but I have no other way to explain the buds being fine after three nights of freezing with a low of 23.
