We have all made mistakes with daylilies and beds. My biggest mistake was planting these trees after putting in the beds, had no idea back then how far tree roots will travel. Maybe we should start a thread of Mistakes To Avoid.
Got all the GRUNT work completed yesterday, all I need to do now is some ground work and get Michele to bring me enough daylilies to fill up the area.
This is a view from the west side (faceing the house) In the left bottom corner of the photo is part of another bed the same length as the new area.

This is whats in that other bed with the walkway in the middle. All the daylilies on the right are now in the boxes.

Overview of the whole area, you can see an entrance way on the north end, there is also one on the south end. Both have climbing roses on them.

Will add more daylilies as I have time and get the ground back in shape.
