The way I make compost tea, I can add the MG right thru the mix. I use a 32 gallon garbage can that has holes in the bottom and use the lid under it to catch the water draining out of it. The can is filled with all my grass clippings and weeds, leaves or what ever I find. No dog carp is ever used. I pour a gallon of water at the top and get almost 3/4 back. I have to cover the top if it rains so I don't lose any. Works great and during the summer that can can cook.
