One time after a particularly hard freeze it took 2 years - keep the faith.
I received a baby king sago as a gift in 1973 and it grew and grew. It eventually was in a 24" pot and when we moved to the coast in '98 we removed it from the pot to plant in the ground and it had produced 36 pups, baseball to softball size, which we removed and planted. More than 30 of them lived.
I understand the new owners of our home have removed them all. Shrug!
Minds are like parachutes; they work better when they are open.
