Tiarella are semi evergreen depending on how cold your winters get . By me boarder of zones 6a - 5b they turn color in late Oct. and keep leaves till March. By you I would think they would be evergreen. Carex Ice Dance is evergreen.

I have never tried them in pots. Do you know SPRINGCOLOR she grows a lot of plants in containers. I know she does Heuchera and Heucherella.
