I'm sure it was good, Rosie. You know, whenever I see a recipe with cream + wine I think = curdle. Hilarious! Though I've done it a lot, it never seems right in my head. Green Grin!

Despite the hot day, my soup was a hit! We just had a big bowl of soup, a little hunk of baguette, and Apothic red blend.

I made a few changes:
omitted almond milk
doubled Italian sausage
replaced 15 oz canned tomatoes with 26 oz. San Marzano
added a little red wine
added tomato paste

This recipe is a keeper. And I still have enough for another meal in each the fridge and freezer.
