Thanks, springcolor. It's sounds like they'd be best started inside as I'd guessed.
My seeds are the blutopia seeds from Pinetree. Just a few seeds, enough to try. Though mailed in a bubble enveloped, they are in those little plastic vials inside the packet, and the pellets are intact. I do like Pinetree seeds.
