Looks like my huge Anthurium spectabile may be making another batch of seeds. Time will tell....this spadix was ready, iy had that 'sticky' feel, and I had several other species that were actively pollinating including A. watermaliense, A. crenatum, A. Schlechtandalii, A. crystallinum and A. vittarifolium. So I smeared pollen from ALL of these on this spadix. It may be interesting to see what grows out if I get seeds...some species of Anthuriums will not cross-pollinate if they come from different groups, but I don't think these are A. spectabile x self because the second mother plant was not pollinating at the time. The spadix is over 15" long so there was plenty of room LOL
