What I have been using (for years) for my birdseed to pour into the feeders and to store my smaller bags of dry plant food/soil admendments are these containers.

Here is a link of them at Duncraft, but you can get them locally at Lowe's and other places in the birdseed isle (that's where I get mine). They aren't that expensive locally and they are cheaper than at Duncraft.

I have seen extra tall ones at Meijer, but I haven't gotten any of that size yet. I don't know how much that costs. I never looked to see how much it was before.

The size on the Duncraft site is the size I mostly use for birdseed and gardening stuff. They are duel pour like it states on the link. A spout or a bigger opening for pouring.

They all have handles.
