Quick question-- I have access to a bunch of mature, healthy crepe myrtle trees next door. Assuming that I do find baby suckers around the base of these trees, and successfully dig them up, do y'all recommend I start them in a pot first or directly to the ground? What time of year do you recommend digging these babies up? Should regular miracle grow potting soil work in a pot for propagating these? Thank You!
