@bloominholes2fill Dana, regular batteries will work and only come on when it is dark out but they run down and don't recharge. Now I got some solar batteries so I need to replace some batteries and see if the lights still work. Also the solar charging part gets clouded and doesn't recharge the solar batteries so I read once that you can paint it with clear finger nail polish and it will start charging the batteries again. I tried it and it did work.
@bumplbea Love your gardens especially the cobalt blue pot area. I have about 4 gazing balls that are all glass. I have never seen the metal ones. I will have to look for them next time I get out shopping for garden decor. One of my glass gazing balls that looks mosiac that I got from a friend as a gift broke in half so I glued it with GE silicone ll and it has held up well.
