Seems like Lowes has changed their fall sales strategy. In past years they would stop receiving new nursery stock in August and then in mid August they would run sales on the remaining stock. Not so this year. They are still receiving fresh stock, the outdoor register is still open and I do not think they will be having any sales until maybe October. The nearby Walmart and Meijers have already closed their nursery sales, except for fall mums.
My observations are based on stores in SE Michigan. Practices may vary in other locations.
