Hi Gang, I hope this year's gardening season has brought you all great bounty and beauty! Smiling

I've had White Feather hosta for 3 years, and I got it in order to brighten up a FULLY shaded corner with it's beautiful white leaves. Smiling Lovey dubby It's Spring leaves emerge white, and by early July, the leaves have already emerged (mostly) green, and in between, the leaves are striped green and white. Well, I'm disappointed in the very short length of time it's leaves stay mostly white. Sighing!

I fully understand that it eventually needs to grow green leaves for photosynthesis. I'm wondering, though, if its location, in full shade, is affecting the length of time it's leaves remain mostly white, bc it needs green leaves sooner rather than later to have more time to soak up what little light it receives, and I therefore should move it to more dappled shade to give it another month or two to remain white? Or is it typical for White Feather hosta leaves to remain mostly white for only just around two months, in either scenario of light exposure?

I look forward to all of your thoughts and suggestion! Smiling Thanks a bunch, Gang! Smiling Smiling
