We have not had a feeder up for the last 2 winters. We really miss it. I am thinking of asking my neighbor (strong guy! does landscaping!
) to put up another post and put our feeder up. I don't think the ground is frozen so hard that he could not do it - it has been a mild winter.
What recommendations do you have for not having coons etc. get into feeder? I used to have a 4x4 post and we had the bottom 5 feet wrapped with old metal printing plates so they could not climb it. Now, I don't work at the printing company any more, so don't have access to them.
