I was at Lowes this afternoon In Troy Alabama
and they had plants on clearance rack for the last 3 weeks in
Sept...Most are beyond nurturing them back if you bought
them today on Sept 29th.

Many plants are over watered that is what happens
at these store...nurseries..they admit it ..

I saw two Nanho butterfly bushes that were
23.00 each in good shape reduced to 5.00 dollars.
those were today and were green and looked good
I have no idea how due to their over watering..
At these stores the employee waters all plants
drenching them daily whether they are dry loving
like iris or whether they are bee balm that loves
water.

I did not have room for the butterfly bushes and I hated to leave
them there to be over watered in pots and die
at the store today..

So this store is smart they reduced then they
did not receive new perennials after sept
lst this year...
