I buy PVC 1"x4"x8' boards (comes in various sizes) at Lowes or HoneDepot to place under misc. outside wood objects sitting on top of soil or concrete. Easily cut with carpentry tools. Been doing it since 2009. Keeps moisture from wicking into wood and from concrete. P.S. Building codes require a vapor barrier between concrete foundations and wood, even for sheds.
