My daughter saw this recipe for easy peach cobbler and wanted to try it. Of course, she had to go buy self-rising flour and ice cream to go with it. It was delicious, but I personally like a peach cobbler with a pastry crust better. I was surprised that this recipe did not call for cinnamon. We added some anyway.

1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup white sugar
1 cup milk
2 (16 oz) cans sliced peaches in heavy syrup
1/2 cup butter

My daughter added about 1 tsp cinnamon to the flour mixture.

Melt butter or margarine in 9 x 13 inch pan.
Mix together the flour, sugar, and milk. Pour mixture into the pan. Spread peaches, including syrup, evenly around the pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 to 40 minutes, until the crust turns golden brown. Let cool for about 10 minutes before serving.

Here is the recipe at AllRecipes.com

So now we have about 4 lbs of self-rising flour. What do you do with it?
May all your weeds be wildflowers. ~Author Unknown
