Bobby is right, you can't just look at zones. My zone 8b in Florida is so different than Joy's zone 8b i Washington. Even where I was living before now, which is15 minutes down the road, is different. At my old place it gets 10 degrees colder in the winter and that's a big difference when it comes to plants.
