This has been a really weird winter here. Spring like temps, then down to
way below freezing. The plants and birds don't know what season it is.

I have old dormants coming up with new growth that usually don't peek their
heads up till spring, and newer dormants that have not died down at all.

The EVs and Sev don't know either. So, I'm like an old mother hen checking
on the newly acquired ones last season. Pulling mulch back on warm rainy
days and putting it back on freezing ones. Usually, I just ignore all that
during the winter. Probably would be okay this season too, but as I said, old mother hen. Big Grin
