Blond Vision was advertised on Hollingsworth's site as very frost intolerant when I purchased mine. I've tried to cover mine every time we've had crazy cold weather after it emerges but it just has never increased or bloomed well. I've had enough blooms on it though that I fully intend to keep it and make sure it has an optimal spot—when it blooms its gorgeous. I moved mine 3 years ago to a spot where it'd emerge later, hoping that would help, but of course that new spot was part of the mass move to AL this year. The root did break into 2 pieces when I dug it so I have it in AL and in one of the front beds here in CO now, sure hope one at least survives.
Karen, Prosperity Maud is relatively tall and a good grower, really like it. The springs since I got it have been really hard; was completely devastated by the hail storm 2 years ago and last year's end of May blizzard had it laying on the ground for a while before it recovered, still put out pretty blooms.
