I will say with some confidence that it CANNOT be a Callicarpa sp. There is no evidence that the plant has opposite arrangement of simple leaves with the fruiting structures at the leaf axils.
It has more similarity to a decomposing Aralia sp., like Aralia spinosa, with the fruiting structures collapsing down the stems and some compound foliage still holding on green.
Of course, I don't believe that at all - any more than artificial plants having to look like a real one. There would be a lot fewer artificial plants - including holiday trees - were that the minimum requirement.
