to toss together a quick slideshow of some cardinals I spotted on 9 January. There were at least three of them and, at first, they would only perch in trees, where a couldn't get a clean image. 
They kept flitting about from tree to tree for over an hour, before they finally put down briefly across the creek. They were about eighty feet away, (let's hear it for long lenses 
), but I will take what I can get.
