I used to order from Barry a long time ago, but alas they didn't do well for me here in Texas. The fact that they arrive in March and then have to go through summer here after they have gone through summer there, just wears them out. My best Blyth is Light Beam, it is a yellow plicata. It blooms for me every year even if it is a very mild winter. I just love it every year and have had it for a very long time.

I love Polar Queen, but it only blooms when we have a very cold winter, it didn't bloom for about ten years and I thought I had lost it. We had a cold winter in 2008 and, surprise there it was.

My favorite intermediate is Furioso by Barry Blyth.
