Is anyone here excited about the Great Backyard Bird Count GBC? I'm like a kid waiting for christmas
I don't even get any really exciting birds in my yard but I still look forward to participating and submitting my list.
Maybe since many people here look for birds everyday this event has lost some of it excitement but I'd rather watch the results of this than the Grammys, Oscars, BAFTAs or whatever.
Its been raining a lot here and I hope we get a break and some sunshine. So instead of chocolate I'm going to buy some bug repellent so I can hang out with all my telephoto lenses and my binoculars. Maybe I will get some chocolate to snack on while I wait for Mr and Mrs Mockingbird to show up.
