Good point. I was actually wondering the same thing. I have that section in the front yard were not this past fall but the year before I planted 200 Long Trumpet Mix Daffodils from Scheepers. It did start with the very earlies first of course and finially ended with a very late variety. Blooms opened in waves and bloom times overlapped so that it was a sea of blooms for the weeks those daffs stayed in bloom. So I expect lots and lots more blooms from them later. But this past spring the earlies didn't start this much earlier than the others. This year those earlies are blooming while others in the collection are breaking ground now. Quite a difference from before.
