Dick, I'm pretty sure that you have a lot that I don't have.....lol..I think that's different Skunk Cabbage than I've seen before....? Was reading in Del Norte Natives this week about Skunk Cabbage, need to go back and read again, something about a rise in temperature......You have such a different situation on your property...forest, where I have small, sunny lot....I do know that I would not be able to take care of larger than this as I'm aging...lol..

I don't mind 'staying home', we usually do anyway (except that I wish I had gotten up to the Brookings art supply store)...once again, I will spend the Summer trying to catch up with all that needs doing...did cut back some of the grasses today and this last week...but...
I could be wrong...
