It was a busy day in the garden today. Lots of activity.

I saw my first hummer today. There are lots of nectar flowers to attract them so I usually wait until I see one to put the feeders out.

The grackles are such bullies. I watched this one grab a garden snake then take it to the birdbath to waterboard it before it proceeded to gobble it up

Mr Mockingbird always gets my respect for the way he guards his territory. He'll run those grackles and cowbirds right off.
