The mockingbird pair in my yard have an active nest. Its very well protected and I can't get pictures without disturbing them and causing a fuss. Not to mention risking attack. However I see them constantly coming in and out of the bushes with moths full of food. I can hear the demanding little "cheep cheep" every time the chicks feel the branches wiggle knowing its a food delivery. I think this is why I saw the mockingbird dive bombing the grackle the other day. I'd dive bomb a grackle just because.
