Is basil easy to grow from seeds? Yes, very easy. Any large big-box display of seeds will have basil. If you keep them warm, germination time is about 10 days, and they'll be six inches tall in a month. I grow them most every year (though managed not to this year - my crop last year was ENORMOUS and I have dried basil everywhere).
