I have a couple in my front bed. I've never gone out to view the poppy fields, but grew up seeing plenty of them...and many other wild flowers. The Aunt that raised me was a nature nut, so we had some cheap but interesting vacations/weekends, and we lived within a few doors of Irvine Ranch in Corona del Mar while I was in school, so nature was close...in those days.
