lol...when we got here, I started digging out sod. I had a big Ariens rear wheel tiller that I used for years and when we left Fallbrook, I decided I simply would not be doing anything that heavy again and it did not make the trip up here with us. As it was Jer made 5 runs up here and back with the biggest U-haul...I gave away truckloads of plants and pots, etc, brought one small box trailer of plants...so when I knew that I wanted bordering the property bed, I started digging out sod....and mounding it all in that back yard corner.....and when I ran out of room for planting certain things, and I knew that mound would have good drainage and top soil, I stuck things in there...There is a Meyer Lemon, Cistus 'Blanche', Dendromorpha, Echium vulgare, Fuchsia magellanica (was already there), a huge old Buddleja, and various other joined-in-the-party stuff...plus plenty of the ivy and blackberry...it waits to be sorted...lol..
I could be wrong...
