I started putting mine on google spreadsheets so I can call them up with my phone when I'm out shopping. More than once I have bought the same plant...once a plant gets on my mental wish list, it sticks there even after I've ordered it.
I love my android phone. Don't love the high bill, but the technology is super cool. I also found out I can access the spreadsheets from my Kindle. I take it with me when I'm going to be stuck waiting somewhere, and I actually can get work done in otherwise wasted time. Wish I could figure out how to draw good garden maps and have them with me too.
