Larry, Thank you for this timely and informative article!

Although I love puttering in the garden, I'm not in the greatest of shape because for the past 20 years I've been using a riding mower which doesn't offer much exercise at all. So, I recently began a walking program. I log one to two miles each morning at @ 7 o'clock. Early morning is my favorite time of day and it's not so hot and humid at that hour so I get my 30 - 40 minutes in before the heat of the day sets in! So far I've only been walking around my neighborhood, which is a very pleasant walk but I'm fortunate to be only a couple of miles from the beach so I plan on changing up my routine every so often and driving over to the beach to walk on the sand once in awhile!

If I lived where temperatures were freezing, I'm afraid I'd have to buy a treadmill! Smiling
~ I'm an old gal who still loves playing in the dirt!
~ Playing in the dirt is my therapy ... and I'm in therapy a lot!
