If the irises in the original bed have been around for a while you could have a child iris of some in that bed or elsewhere as bees bring in pollen and a bee pod shows up, dries, seeds fall to ground and then germinates in a year or so. If that is the case a name will never be assigned except for "Gramma's whatever" and remember her as you view it.
