This is a small tree I found growing on our property. It's single trunk, about 7/8 feet tall & is deciduous. It's growing on the west side under & next to huge old oaks but must get slanting afternoon sun. The first 2 photos were taken 12/21/11 when it was bare of leaves. The last 2 photos were taken 3/14/12 & show it leafing out. A very thorny plant.

I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown
