Iris reticulata in full bloom today. Two clumps. Must get more!

Back to 40 degrees for a few days and then they are once again promising 60 next week with sun. Finally will be able to get out and get some work done in the gardens. The sporadic nice weather before just produced mud.

This iris seems to bloom just before peak crocus bloom.

Such a gorgeous strong blue. It is interplanted with Stella (seen on top left).

Oh, BTW, do you notice that crocus blooms in order of their color? And where in the garden? They are not open again today so no pics. They need sunshine. My top gardens bloom 2 wks earlier than the lower gardens, and the grade is not that steep. But where the sun is in the sky also shines on the top gardens, and the lower gardens don't really get sun. Just open gardens now, and sun later in the summer.

The pic will look better enlarged. Just click on it!
