When we add alternative common names and cultivar names to the database, the system seems to give preference to the last one added instead of the first one. I know that can be corrected by the use of a thumbs-up for the proper one, but wouldn't it be better if the system gave preference to the first name entered? When we add a new plant to the database, after all, we're asked to list the primary common name. Later, if we add another common name, it becomes the primary name that's shown in the genus lists.
