Beautiful blooms everyone!

Avedon, the Food Channel is very nice! I haven't seen a bad pic of this one yet.

Charley, great shot of Wiggly Piggly against the light of the sunset. It is perfect!

Ken, you have a lot of pretty lavenders! I also like Sunday Gloves very much. I am so sorry to hear that you have rust. It is inevitable if you get daylilies from a warmer zone. I tried to prevent the rust by doing as follows: First I strip all the outer leaves until only the white part is shown. Next, I cut back the foliage down to about 2-3". Place all the cut and stripped off foliage into a bag and disposed of it in the trash. Then I plant the daylilies. After the daylilies are planted and watered, I sprayed the part above ground generously with Daconil. I sprayed it again 2 more times every other day. So far I have not seen rust on my new purchases for this year yet. I did buy some from vendors who told me that they got rust in their gardens for this year. You only need to do this extreme treatment for purchases of daylilies grown in zones where winters are not cold enough to kill it.
