ROYAL GIRLS is my very favorite purple. The camera can't capture the luminous quality of these blooms

42 degrees wiped me out last night. Lots of blooms but with one exception, not worth wasting battery power.

Love this beautiful colored toothy, Diana! I have not seen a bad pic from this daylily yet. Seems to be very consistent in quality of bloom.

Here is my Royal Girls. Nowhere near as purple as yours, Jill but it certainly has very elegant form and clear color.

I got Picasso's Intrigue last year, and I'm anticipating it's FFO like a catcher in the ninth inning of the World Series, waiting for that third strike to seal the win!! I bought more to gift some fans to my Counselor bc of the high bud count AND purple is her favorite color. She lives in an apartment building with a balcony, but I must enable til she's out of space for pots .......forget tables and chairs! (Enabling my Counsor Ohhh, could I go places with that one!!! )

There a few that caught my eye.
Actually all of them. The purples are stunning.
My internal alarm clock has stopped working. Yesterday up at 8:30 oh thats late for me. Well have a few reblooms.
Pleated Perfection did a ton better on rebloom.

A Noid double that hasnt quit blooming all season. Probably wont see it for a couple of years.

Daylily season has officially begun at long last here! The very first to bloom (cheating, because it came from Davi in NC this spring)....PRINCESS SYNDROME. It has 'wowed' me already and I am in love. I am collecting & freezing it's pollen. It should make some pretty children. I am a fool for bicolors....and this one is a knockout.

Dana and Betty - Picasso's Intrigue has gorgeous blooms, but it is not a good performer for me. My highest bud count over the years is 10 on a scape - most scapes have only 8. It does seem a bit tender here, so Dana I hope it makes it for you in Ohio.
