Obligatory weed ... well not really a weed, we accept it wherever it wants to grow. A couple of years ago we had hundreds of plants, each with dozens of blooms. This year we have eleven including one in the middle of our gravel driveway. We water them all with care.

For reasons beyond our control we have suddenly transitioned from many blooms to not so many blooms.

On the other hand, apricots!

Our wonderful neighbors who take care of our garden all winter including hauling water from the Acequia, brought us three gallons of apricots yesterday. This is a photo of one of four bowls plus another gallon of not quite ripe ones for later in the week.

Rustic apricot tart is on the menu (photo from last year.)

I’d rather have questions that can’t be answered than answers that can’t be questioned.
