Thanks, all. Smiling I'm doing better this year. Last year many plants died of the dreaded rot. I still can over water and I worry about it constantly now. So hard having this many orchids without a greenhouse in New England. Winters can be dreary for days. I feel kind of insane sometimes, but I can't seem to help myself. Newbies, beware!

Venice, I think I posted this on DG, but you are in for a lesson in patience. And don't forget to say an orchid mantra daily. BTW, my guess is dendrobium. As I get older (and maybe wiser, I can't tell) I've stopped trying to save sick orchids and only buy the healthiest ones. Only Laurel can save them! Where is Laurel?
