Yes, indeed! Our new washer has a "steam cycle" setting that we usually use, even for "normal" washing, and that seems to be working well... still gloves that I *know* have come into contact with PI only get washed with items like my gardening jeans that also got their share of contact, and then I use the "allergen" cycle (extra hot).
We're all learners, doers, teachers.
