mishkab said:Hello,
Couple questions:
What kind of clematis do you have?
How much sun does it get and why do you think it is too much sun?

Apologies for the much delayed response. I just saw your message. My clems face south and they get full sun (9-10 hours a day). They seem to be doing much better now that the temps have cooled a bit and I'm paying more attention to them - one of them has actually rebloomed. I have 4: Miss Bateman, Elsa Spaeth, Piilu, Gillian.

I seem to be dealing with severely crispy leaves each summer. This summer was also extremely hot with very little rain. I know better for next summer (daily watering necessary), but I'm wondering if some varieties do better in full sun than others.
