Gina1960 said:Very cool dude! I have maybe 10 vittarifolium spadices coming into berry. I used to use Miracle Gro, which is basically a 15-30-15, or, in Florida since a few years ago a 15-30-0 (they took out the phosphorus because we are basically a state that is built on Karst formation, Limestone, which is heavy on phosphorous already)..and I would supplement wit a separate treatment of trace and micros. But the Dyna Gro has all that in a really cost effective formulation. I only use 1 tsp/gallon a week. So a 32 oz container lasts a LONG time. And, I have REALLY seen a difference. I also supplement CA and MG with Dolomite powder asa top dressing once every 4 months (3x a year)

I will definitely give Dyna Gro a shot. I've never heard of dolomite powder, I will read into it.
Growing up in Colombia my grandma would do a top dressing of coffee grounds on her plants, and if I remember correctly she would once in a while throw a banana peel intoo the mix, her plants were always BEAUTIFUL! she's actually the reason why I got into plants haha. I've been doing the same with my coffee grounds, and my philodendron, and pilea really seem to like it. I just tried it on my fiddle leaf fig, maybe I will see good results soon. All of My ficus decided to stop growing once I gave them the all purpose fertilizer, will be switching that out ASAP, Hopefully these vittarifolium will grow to the point where I can pollinate them and make berries of my own, but I think that won't happen for a good amount of years
